Terms of Use
Effective date: 21 July 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Frame, including our website, demo system, production app, POS, inventory, reporting, subscription, support, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing the demo, subscribing, or using Frame, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Frame for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that business.
The Frame service
Frame provides inventory and business management tools for retail and stock-based businesses. Features may include POS, stock management, sales orders, purchase orders, customers, suppliers, expenses, incomes, reports, subscriptions, PWA/offline support, and owner activity tracking.
We may improve, add, remove, or modify features where necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product development. We will try to avoid changes that materially harm active paying customers without reasonable notice.
Accounts and users
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure, assigning appropriate user roles, removing access for former staff, and reviewing account activity. Activities performed through your account may be treated as authorized by you unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
You must provide accurate account, business, phone, email, and payment information. You must not impersonate another person or business, create accounts for illegal activity, or bypass account limits.
Subscriptions, payment, and activation
Frame is offered through subscription plans. Plan features, user limits, branch limits, prices, and billing periods are shown on the pricing page or inside the app.
At the current startup stage, payment may be handled manually. You may be asked to pay through a provided mobile money or bank payment number, then submit the full transaction SMS as proof. Your subscription is activated only after Frame verifies and approves the payment proof in the backend.
Submitting false, edited, reused, or misleading payment proof may lead to rejection, suspension, or account termination. Later, Frame may introduce direct mobile network operator or payment gateway integrations.
Unless we state otherwise in writing, subscription fees are non-refundable after activation, except where required by law or where Frame makes a clear billing error.
Business data and backups
You retain ownership of your business data. You give Frame permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display your data as needed to provide the service.
You are responsible for checking that entered data is accurate, including products, stock quantities, tax rates, prices, suppliers, customers, and reports. Frame is a tool; it does not replace professional accounting, tax, audit, pharmacy, or legal advice.
We may maintain backups for reliability and recovery, but you should also export important records regularly where the feature is available, especially before major stock audits or financial reporting.
PWA, offline mode, and synchronization
Frame may support offline or low-connectivity operation for selected features. Offline support is designed to help shops continue working during temporary internet interruptions, but it is not a guarantee that every feature works without internet.
Subscription verification, account login, remote owner dashboard updates, email sending, payment approval, and cross-device synchronization may require internet access. If a device stays offline beyond the allowed grace period, Frame may require internet connection before continuing.
When data is created offline and later synchronized, conflicts may occur if the same stock, sale, or record was changed from another device. You are responsible for reviewing synced records and reporting issues promptly.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse Frame. You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to another account, branch, database, or server.
- Upload malware, harmful files, illegal content, or data you have no right to process.
- Interfere with sync, licensing, subscriptions, security checks, or service availability.
- Use Frame for fraud, unlawful trade, false records, tax evasion, or misleading reports.
- Copy, resell, reverse engineer, or exploit Frame outside your permitted subscription.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused, creating security risk, or violating these Terms.
Availability, liability, and disclaimers
We work to keep Frame reliable, secure, and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Service may be affected by internet outages, hosting issues, device problems, third-party services, maintenance, or events outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frame is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, stock loss caused by incorrect entries, or decisions made using inaccurate data entered by users.
Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid to Frame for the affected service period, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes, termination, and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of Frame after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using Frame at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, illegal use, violation of these Terms, or misuse of the service.
